Leadership for Negotiations: We work with leaders from all organizations involved to establish the steering committee with equitable representation and create a timeline for the negotiations.
Planning and Conducting Negotiations: We’ll facilitate the negotiating process with the members of the Steering Committee, including discussions about governance, finances, human resources, capital needs, funding, programs and services, and communications.
Writing and Proposing a Merger Agreement: We’ll prepare a “plan of merger” that outlines next steps, including how each board approves the merger and what happens post-merger.
Approval of the Plan of Merger: We support the presentation of the plan of merger to each organization’s board to arrive at a decision about what comes next.
